Robotic Prosthetics Project Manual Sample

In a side project I'm currently working on with some people in the robotics industry, we're working to create a functioning prosthetic arm that we hope can be used in the medical equipment industry someday. This is a small snippet of the manual I'm writing for it.

Bug Report User Guide

As a volunteer technical writer with The Good Docs Project, I joined the "guides" team and contributed to the writing of multiple guides designed to help organizations produce accessible and user-friendly documentation. Here I helped write a guide on creating bug reports. I worked with the "templates" team to help them develop the corresponding template at the end of the document.

Certified Technical Writer Certificate Program Final Project

In the final project of my technical writing certificate program, I submitted a proposal that advised an organization on potential changes, based on my own research and international trends. I supported my recommendations with data from a survey I conducted and insights from an interview.

A Win For Affordable Housing: Inclusionary Development Charge One Step Closer to Reality

While pursuing my bachelor's degree in Journalism, I served as a reporter for Grady Newsource. For this article, I thoroughly reviewed a 98-page document from the Athens, Georgia Planning Commission to simplify and convey its contents to our audience. Additionally, I produced and narrated a video for the article to make the information more accessible and engaging.

Outside of technical writing, I’ve always had a deep love for comedy. I’ve contributed for a variety of websites, but my favorite experience was writing for Hard Drive, a popular satire site geared toward gamers and internet culture enthusiasts.
